Happiness

Hmmm... yes I can see your point. I beleive for the purposes of this experiment, subjects were asked directly to rate how happy they were. So I guess you'll have to ask them. Personally I think happiness is all an illusion any way.

Happiness

Happiness is only relative to how happy you were the day before. As people in western countries have so much they're blessed with, anything less than spectacular is bound to be a downer.

Happiness is for weaklings.

Happiness is for weaklings. Nature is neutral. She doesn't care about petty human beings.

Sensation

Any sensation wears off after a period of time. Once the body get acclimatised to the thrill, it is no longer a thrill. I think human beings always have problems and money does not solve these completely. Any problem overcome is eventuallyreplaced by a new problem. So no, money though it may solve your problems temporarily, does not being lasting happiness.

State of sensation

But what if you were to keep yourself in a constant state of sensation with more and more accumulation of wealth and money. Could you then qualify for being happy?
